Aurora

Aurora Aksnes, born June 15th of 1997 in Stavanger and is professionally known as Aurora sometimes stylized in uppercase as AURORA is an Norwegian music producer and singer. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves by Decca Records was released on May 15th, 2015 and received great reviews from music blogs as well as from the press. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band, was released for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are among her best-known songs. Her name was also recognized from a post by Katy Perry where Perry endorsed her song Runaway. Make it a day to celebrate her birthday. Aurora Aksnes first musical memory was when she discovered a keyboard within her loft and being fascinated by its music. Jan Oystein Aksnes' parents May Britt Aksnes encouraged her to make music as a means of the sake of personal development, and not to earn money or to pursue as a hobby. To achieve this she started writing her own new compositions. Her sources include noted authors Leonard Cohen and Bob Dylan, as well as her love for Bjork's style. The singer decided to perform the songs she wrote publicly after her mom suggested they might help others not be famous with her work, but instead help people see around them realize the importance of their work and how they could impact the world. She began playing the piano as her primary instrument when she was six, and she started making music at the age of nine. The fact that she was a musician wasn't known to her family members until she turned fourteen. Aurora did not have a set goal. Aurora is simply a writer who loves writing songs. The music she composes is the way that she feels anything.
